Internet Antivirus Pro is a rogue antivirus program that seeks to deceive users into paying for a worthless product. It makes many promises of virus removal and protection, but it never delivers. It will infect computers through very devious means. Though manual download is possible, it is rare.
Once Internet Antivirus Pro has infected a computer, it will constantly bother the user with pop-up security warnings. It will also attempt to perform a fake scan of the system. The scan will always yield false reports of infections, going so far as to invent names of infections.
