iSafe Antivirus Doesn’t Mean That You’re Safe

Far from it, actually.  iSafe Antivirus is not an antivirus program, is not safe, and has no interest in being either.  iSafe Antivirus is a rogue security tool, and you should get rid of it immediately if you catch it.

iSafe Antivirus and other rogue security software are only after one thing:  Your money.  They are a bundle of spyware programs designed to make you think that you have a huge malware infection, convince you that they’re the only ones who can fix it, so that you’ll buy their shell of a program.

Corrupt security tools come in several varieties.  Some pretend to be antispyware programs.  Others, such as iSafe Antivirus, pretend to be antivirus programs.  Still others pretend to be other security types, such as hacker alerts.  These differences, as well as the individual skins they put on, are the only differences between them.

An infection with iSafe Antivirus starts with an accidental download of the infamous Zlob Downloader Trojan.  This usually happens at infected websites, or by downloading infected files at P2P file sharing groups.  The typical disguise is as a video codec that you “need” to watch a video.

From there, iSafe Antivirus will whisk you away to isafeantivirus.com or one of its other web pages.  It will ask you if you want a free scan of your computer, but regardless of your answer, it will perform this scan.  Because they want you to buy iSafe Anti virus, you will always be shown as being infected.

The infection they say you have will always be a massive one.  iSafe Antivirus wants your money, and will do everything it can to convince you that you have a major problem and that they’re the only ones who can fix your problem.

In reality, you probably didn’t have a problem until iSafe Antivirus came along.  Although your infection isn’t of the type or severity that it shows, you still have to get rid of it.  That is, unless you like having your browsing interrupted every ten minutes while you get redirected to isafeantivirus.com and have to watch another scan.  None for me, thanks.

One thing that can be confusing about iSafe Antivirus and other rogue programs that pretend to be antiviruses is the immediate assumption that it’s a virus.  It’s not, and an antivirus scan won’t show it.  It’s a spyware bundle consisting of Zlob, a pop-up generator, and a browser hijacker.  You need an antispyware program to get rid of it.

You need to be picky when you shop for your antispyware software.  Not every one is as good as the next, and the price tag isn’t a clue on quality.  You have to know that your antispyware keeps up to date on the developments in spyware and rogue tools.

With this in mind, I created SpyZooka.  I made it unique, as the only program that provides updates within minutes of a new spyware or rogue tool release.  While the other guys update within days, SpyZooka has you covered in less than five minutes.  That’s why we have the 100% removal guarantee, and we’re the only ones who do.
