SpySheriff is a rogue security programs that is designed to trick users into believing it is a legitimate spyware removal tool. Through incessant pop-up warning alerts, it will try to frighten the user into believing that security threats reside on their PC. SpySheriff is incapable of scanning the computer, so obviously it cannot detect or remove threats. Hackers design SpySheriff for the purpose of scamming innocent people, and having them spend their money on a useless product. SpySheriff is itself spyware, and may place additional malware on your PC which can cause poor performance. Your computer may become slow, due to the fact that malicious applications like these use up valuable operating resources and memory. In addition, information about your surfing habits and personal data may be accessed and sold to third parties.
