Summary: Searchpage is a browser hijacker program developed by
master-search.com. It is designed to reset your home page to c:\searchpage.html and redirect any 404 Error message reports (consisting of misspelled or nonexistent URLs) there. It is also designed to restart when Windows restarts, and when the browser restarts. These activities make it hard for it to be removed from your computer.
While SearchPage has no spyware capabilities, it does negatively affect your Internet Explorer browser’s performance. It is recommended that you remove it immediately in order to regain IE’s functionality and regain overall operating speed. SpyZooka has experienced no problems in removing SearchPage infections.
