SpyLocked is rogue anti-spyware and symptoms of infection are usually fairly obvious.  If you have this pest on your system, you will begin to receive false security messages informing you that your computer has been infected with spyware (which it has not).  You will also receive promptings to purchase the “license” or “full version” of the software in order to take maximum advantage of the application.  All of these messages are false.

SpyLocked is only trying to deceive you into buying a useless program that will do absolutely nothing for you.  SpyLocked’s method of infection is similar to many other rogue security programs in that it will enter using the Zlob Trojan horse files.  These have also been linked to spyware programs such as Spydawn, SpySheriff, SpywareQuake, VirusBurst, and VirusLocker.  These programs are not only a nuisance they can be quite dangerous.  If removal is attempted but not completed, SpyLocked is able to re-install itself.
