WinAntiVirus Pro is a rogue security program that displays misleading information through pop-up security alerts. These alerts are designed to look legitimate to the user, and to frighten them into believing that security threats exist on their PC. This is simply a ploy to get the user to purchase the full product. WinAntiVirus Pro is a variant of Trojan.Zlob, and can place cookies on your system to track your online activities. It may also disable critical system files that are needed for proper functioning. Your computer may become slow, and your personal information as well as business data may be at risk. WinAntiVirus Pro is not capable of scanning your PC for parasites or threats, so it cannot detect or delete anything at all.
